Pay Yourself Camp is about building confidence in your business financial statements, having the accountability to do your books, dissecting your numbers on a monthly basis, and crafting your action plans based on reality and not just dreaming alone.

As a bookkeeper myself, bookkeeping and budgeting are not one and the same. Yes, you should have a robust business budget AND have your bookkeeping always up-to-date. But bookkeeping tends to be more reactive to financial decisions you made in the past, while budgeting involves having a clear plan for your future.
